The Police inspector explained further that: "Mr Danso was arrested at the Kwame Nkrumah Circle for his armed robbery training activities and also possessing ammunition.”The frequency of incidents of armed robbery in Accra and other parts of the country and the modus operandi of the perpetrators lately is mindboggling.
It is therefore not surprising that some of the criminals have training camps where they are equipped with the necessary skills and techniques they require for the robbery activities.
In a related development, 42-year-old William Dapetem,, was also arrested by the Police at the same Kwame Nkrumah Circle for wearing a stolen police uniform. The two suspects are currently in Police custody pending further investigation and possible prosecution.
